Design: Exterior and Interior
There is a new front face, LED headlights and taillights, and different wheel styles on the 2025 Subaru Ascent Hybrid. The outside looks sleek and modern. Some other things that make the hybrid model stand out are the blue highlights on the bonnet, badges, and wheels, as well as the hybrid logo on the back hatch. There are four different trim options for the Ascent Hybrid: Base, Premium, Limited, and Touring.
The 2025 Subaru Ascent Hybrid has a roomy and comfy cabin with three rows of seats that can fit up to eight people. The hybrid and non-hybrid models have plenty of headroom, legroom, and cargo space. A hybrid-only instrument panel, a power meter display, and an eco mode button are other features only available on the hybrid type. A panoramic sunroof, leather seats, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and Subaru’s EyeSight driver assistance technology are just a few of the standard and optional features inside. There is also an 11.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system that works wirelessly with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a Wi-Fi hotspot for charging your phone.
Powertrain
The 2025 Subaru Ascent Hybrid has a 2.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, making 261 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. This engine and electric motor produce 300 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. The electric motor adds 39 horsepower and 63 pound-feet of torque. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) connects the engine to the all-wheel drive system, which sends power to all four wheels.
The 2025 Subaru Ascent Hybrid is expected to get 25 mpg in the town and 30 mpg on the highway. This is much better than the non-hybrid model, which is expected to reach 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. If you want to go on a short trip or drive slowly, the hybrid type can also go about 18 miles on electricity alone. The hybrid model can pull up to 4,000 pounds, a little less than the 5,000-pound limit that the non-hybrid model can pull.
Release Date and Price
It is planned that the 2025 Subaru Ascent Hybrid will go on sale in the fall of 2024 for the 2025 model year.
