Both engines create radically different levels of horsepower; if you plan to haul anything, the 2.4-liter engine is your only option. The basic engine is insufficiently robust. The sluggish transmission exacerbates the 2.5-liter engine’s lack of low-end torque. Acceleration from 0-60 mph takes 8.7 seconds. The turbocharged flat-4 engine cuts the time from zero to sixty miles per hour in half, taking just 5.8 seconds.
2024 Subaru Outback Price and Release Date
For this model year, the Subaru Outback’s price has stayed unchanged. Only $150 has been added to the base model’s MSRP, bringing it $26,945. In this scenario, the premium is $28,855, and the maximum payout is $32,595. $37,495 is the price of the Subaru Outback Touring model. With the Onyx Edition XT starting at $35,145 and the off-road-oriented Wilderness, the first turbocharged grade, starting at $36,995, there’s a lot of car for the money. To complete the selection, the Limited XT starts at $37,995, and the Touring XT costs $39,945. A $1,125 or $1,275 Alaska destination charge is not included in this price.
